What we process and why
We process the data you give us yourself: the contact form fields — name, company, email and the message you write — and, if you open the chat assistant, the data in that conversation (see the section below). The purpose is to answer your enquiry and, where appropriate, continue the commercial conversation you started. To protect the form from abuse, we temporarily use the public IP address that Vercel adds to the request to group submissions; we do not use it to identify you.
Legal basis
Your explicit consent, given by ticking the box in the form, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the form from abuse. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Recipients
Your message is delivered to our mailbox through a transactional email provider acting as a processor under a data processing agreement. We do not store your data in any database on this website. The IP address is not recorded in logs or sent to Sentry or the email provider; nor do we record your browser. We neither share nor sell this data.
Retention
Your message lives in our mailbox for as long as the conversation lasts and afterwards for the period needed to meet possible legal obligations. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it. The IP address used to limit submissions lives only in temporary process memory: it becomes invalid after one hour and is removed when the next request is processed, leaving no persistent record.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies. There are no trackers. The chat assistant does store a conversation identifier in your browser's local storage so you don't lose the thread on reload; it is not a cookie, it does not identify you outside this site, and it disappears when you clear your browser data.
Chat assistant
The Spanish version of this site offers an AI chat assistant. If you open it, we process the messages you write and any contact details you choose to provide in it — name, email or phone — in order to answer your enquiry and follow up commercially if you ask us to. The legal basis is your consent, given when you start the conversation and provide those details. The conversation is processed on our own infrastructure, and the content of your messages is sent to a language-model provider so the reply can be composed; that provider acts as a data processor and does not use your data to train its models. If you leave contact details, they are also recorded in our CRM. Opening the page starts no conversation and sends nothing: nothing leaves your browser until you open the chat.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hello@olessium.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe we have not handled your request properly.
